LIFE 101 is a comprehensive leadership mentoring program that equips participants with tools to make quality decisions about the lives they truly desire to live. Success modules designed for Explorers in grades 9-12 include:

Great Explorations collaborates with "Professional Expert Witnesses" who serve as module facilitators. These men and women, backed with years of personal and professional success, lead interactive workshops that equip Explorers with the tools they will need to accomplish their educational and life goals. This programs is only available to currently enrolled Explorers.

Peter Van Buskirk, Best College Fit

     Peter Van Buskirk is founder and president of Best College Fit. An industry analyst, thought leader and student advocate, Mr. Van Buskirk cuts insightfully through conventional rhetoric and hyperbole to promote a healthy, student-centered, college-going process for families of all backgrounds.
His experiences as a recruiter and evaluator of talent, admission strategist, director of athletics and executive officer in the office of the provost position him uniquely to share a truly holistic perspective on college planning with families.
     Mr. Van Buskirk has presented his workshops "What's My Story" and "The Admission Game" as part of our LIFE 101 success modules. He generously makes himself available for phone calls with Explorers as he is based in Pennsylvania and is frequently traveling the nation helping scholars find their Best College Fit. His book, "Prepare, Compete, Win" is an on-going resource used in  LIFE 101.
